Hello! I’m Shukun Zhang.
A software and AI engineer and Waterloo MDSAI student who ships finished products: enterprise Agentic RAG and a production multi-tool AI agent platform.
I build agents that call tools through the Model Context Protocol, reason with ReAct and AutoGen, and harden real-world behavior with evaluation and fail-closed execution.
Previously at Huawei 2012 Labs, MatriQ, and Talkweb. I’m looking for an AI engineering internship or co-op to take agentic systems from early prototypes into production.
